Woman Injured in Crash on Gulf Freeway

September 19, 2018 – 2:00 am: A woman was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition after spinning out early Wednesday morning.

The accident took place while the woman was trying to take the exit ramp from the inbound Gulf Freeway to the eastbound South Loop. She hit a guard rail and spun out.

The woman’s identity has not yet been made public, although it is known that she was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. First responders report that she was pinned inside her vehicle and had to be removed before they could take her away from the scene.

According to the woman’s report, there was another vehicle involved in the accident, which struck her before she spun out.
