Two Teens Injured While Being Transported by Police

According to news reports, a police officer was transporting the two teens and an adult female to jail when the crash occurred.

 

February 6, 2019 – 12:00 am: Two teens and the driver of a red car were injured in a crash involving a police cruiser that took place around midnight in northwest Houston.

The accident took place on 34th Street, when the police cruiser and a red car collided for as-yet unknown reasons.

The police officer involved in the crash was taking two juveniles and an adult woman to jail at the time of the crash. The two juveniles were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the female teen with an injury to her mouth. The driver of the red car received minor injuries to one of his arms.

The officer and the adult female were not injured in the crash.

Investigators are still looking for evidence to find who was at fault in the accident. The cause of the crash is still not known with certainty at this time. None of the individuals involved in the crash have been publicly identified at the present.
