Two Seriously Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash

According to DPS Troopers, one of the drivers has been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

March 20, 2019 – 11:00 pm: A crash between a Ford Mustang and a BMW led to two injuries and damage to two additional vehicles late on Wednesday night. The driver of the Ford has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, while two people in the BMW were injured in the crash.

The accident took place in Plano on the Dallas North Tollway near Park. The Ford and the BMW were both headed northbound when the Ford hit the BMW.

After the initial crash, the Ford went into a spin, hitting two other vehicles in the process.

The driver and passenger of the BMW were taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Mustang was not seriously injured, and neither were the occupants of the other two vehicles in the crash.

The tollway was closed off at the site of the crash for several hours, but was reopened around 9:00 a.m.

None of those involved in the crash have been publicly identified at this time. Investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
