March 6, 2019 – 10:28 am: Three people were injured in a house fire that took place in the Highlands area of Harris County on Wednesday morning. One of the individuals suffered first degree burns, while the other two inhaled smoke.
The fire took place in a home on Highlands Shores Road in east Harris County. The Crosby Fire Department received the call at 10:28 a.m., and arrived on the scene at 10:33 a.m.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control a short time after they arrived, and the victims were able to exit the home safely.
The victims of the fire were not transported to the hospital. Instead they were treated at the scene of the fire. The names of the victims have not been made public at the present time.
The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time, and investigators are still working to find the origin and cause. Fortunately, no one else was injured in the fire, and the flames did not spread to any other buildings.
