One Teen Killed, Three Injured in Duncanville Crash

The single-vehicle crash took place in southern Dallas County in the early hours of Sunday morning.

March 3, 2019 – 1:00 am: Diamond Finley, 16, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that took place in Duncanville early on Sunday morning. Three other teens were taken to the hospital as a result of the crash, two of them in critical condition.

The crash took place on the IH-20 service road, near Willoughby Boulevard in southern Dallas County. Police report that the teens were leaving a party, and the car veered off the road and hit a tree.

Finley, who was sitting in the front passenger’s seat, was killed in the crash. The 18-year-old driver was hospitalized in stable condition. A 17-year-old girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition, as was a teen boy who was taken from the back seat.

According to investigators, none of the teens involved in the crash had been drinking that night.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The identities of those injured in the crash have not been made public. Investigators are still working on the case, and more information will be made public as it comes to light.
