One Killed, Two Injured in Wrong-Way Crash

According to Houston Police, one of the drivers involved in the crash is suspected of driving while intoxicated.

March 18, 2019 – 2:00 am: One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place very early on Monday morning. The driver of a white pickup that was headed the wrong way at the time of the accident is suspected of driving while intoxicated.

The accident happened just north of downtown Houston, near Interstate 10 and Interstate 45.

The white pickup was headed the wrong way, and Houston Police were already headed toward the scene at the time of the crash. By the time police arrived, the pickup had hit a white Ford Mustang.

The driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the pickup and a passenger in the Mustang were both injured and taken to a hospital.

The identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public at this time, and there is no information available concerning the current condition of the survivors. DWI investigators are still working to determine if the driver of the pickup was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
