Motorcyclist Killed in New Braunfels Crash

According to police, the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

March 23, 2019 – 4:45 pm: An unidentified 24-year-old man was killed in a crash that took place in New Braunfels on Saturday afternoon. Police are not releasing the man’s identity until his next of kin is notified.

The crash took place at the intersection of Denise Drive and Pams Path in New Braunfels.

The man was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and ran into a utility pole. Police report that the man was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident.

The impact also caused some damage to the utility pole, leading to a brief power outage for a few of the homes in the area near the crash site. Repair crews were called in to fix the pole.

At this time, it is unknown why the man lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the accident. The lack of a helmet could have been a serious factor contributing to the lethality of the crash.

The New Braunfels Police Department Traffic Unit is still investigating the accident at the present time.
