Man’s Arm Gets Stuck in Machine in Industrial Accident

News reports state that the Houston Fire Department responded to the accident, which took place in southeast Houston on Wednesday morning.

August 29, 2018 – 11:00 am: A man was hospitalized after an industrial accident in the TA Textiles warehouse at 6119 Donoho Street in southeast Houston on Wednesday morning.

The man in question got his arm stuck in a textile baler machine in the warehouse. His identity has not been released at this time, although he has been identified as one of the employees at the warehouse where the accident occurred.

The Houston Fire Department sent several units onto the scene, located on Donoho Street near Mykawa Road. After some time, the firefighters were able to remove the man from the piece of equipment. The man was taken to the hospital with serious damage to the arm, although he was in stable condition.

There is currently no word on the cause of the accident. The textile baler is a heavy piece of machinery with moving parts that can cause serious injury if there is damage to the machine or if the individuals on the scene are not exercising proper safety measures. At this time there is not enough information available to know what may have caused the accident.
