Homeowner Injured After Driver Crashes into House

According to news reports, the woman was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash, which took place while the homeowner was asleep.

 

November 2, 2018 – 11:00 pm: One homeowner was injured when a vehicle crashed into their home on Sunday. The driver of the vehicle, Brendalize Pagan, 35, has been charged with a class-B misdemeanor for driving while intoxicated.

The crash took place on the 8100 block of Swan Meadow Lane, just north of Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The owner of the home was in bed asleep when the crash took place and was taken to Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital with back pain. The current condition of the homeowner and the homeowner’s identity have not been made available to the public at this time.

When officers of the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office arrived on the scene after the crash, they found that Pagan “displayed several signs of intoxication.”

They conducted a field sobriety test on Pagan, finding that she was intoxicated.

The extent of the damage to the home is not available at this time. An investigation into the accident is currently ongoing, and Pagan is expected to appear in court very soon.
