Man Hit by Two Separate Drivers in Double-Hit-and-Run

According to investigators, the victim was hit by two vehicles, neither of which stopped to help or report to police.

March 10, 2019 – 12:00 pm: Ricardo Garcia was hit and severely injured by two separate vehicles on Sunday while riding his motorcycle. Neither of the drivers stopped to render aid, and police are still searching for the suspects.

Garcia was riding his motorcycle on the Southwest Freeway, near the Hillcroft area.

He was hit by a blue sedan, which knocked him onto the ground. Then he was hit by a dark colored pickup truck. Both of the drivers of these vehicles continued on their way after hitting Garcia.

Garcia was severely injured and is currently in a paraplegic state as a result of his injuries.

Police are currently searching for the drivers responsible for the accident. Garcia’s sister, Lorena Garcia, made a statement for the drivers: “I have prayed for you. I have prayed for you to ask God for forgiveness and asked him to give you the strength, to give you the courage to step forward and do the right thing.”
