Man Killed in Accident While Fleeing on Stolen Motorcycle

According to news reports, the man was originally pulled over because his motorcycle did not have a license plate.

November 2, 2018 – 4:10 am: Justin Hallmark, 32, of North Richland Hills, was killed in a motorcycle accident early Friday morning after fleeing police.

The accident took place on U.S. 67, in the area of County Road 615 in Alvarado, Texas.

Police originally attempted to pull Hallmark over because the 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle he was riding did not have a license plate. Instead of pulling over, Hallmark fled police, heading eastbound along FM 917.

The chase went on at high speeds until the deputies pursuing Hallmark lost him along U.S 67. The deputy in pursuit alerted police to Hallmark’s presence, but then found him after seeing sparks in the distance along U.S. 67.

The deputy found debris along the road, then got out of the vehicle to search the area. He found Hallmark lying in a ditch by the side of the road. The deputy performed CPR on Hallmark but was unable to revive him.

An ambulance arrived on the scene shortly afterward, but they were unable to help Hallmark. He was pronounced dead at 4:45 A.M.
