Two Injured When Driver Hits Cow

News reports state that the accident took place near Lytle, Texas, and two individuals were hospitalized after it took place.

September 25, 2018 – 8:30 pm: A driver on Farm-to-Market 2790 driving toward Lacoste hit a cow in the road on Tuesday night, leading to two injuries.

The accident took place just outside of Lytle, Texas.

The initial accident with the cow disabled the first driver’s vehicle, leading it to stop in the middle of the street. After that, a second driver heading in the opposite direction hit the disabled car.

The second driver’s car flipped, and both drivers were injured in the crash. Police were called onto the scene shortly after the crash occurred. First responders took both drivers to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The name of the hospital where they were taken has not been released.

Lytle police have not yet released the identities of either of the drivers, and neither their current location nor present condition has been made public at this time. There has been no word on the condition of the cow, nor on how the cow managed to get onto the road at that time of night.

The accident is still under investigation.
