February 2, 2019 – 3:00 am: An unidentified man was killed early Saturday morning after crashing into the front of a house in southeast Houston. No one else was injured in the accident.

The crash took place in southeast Houston, near Hobby Airport.

The man was driving an SUV at the time of the crash, hitting a pickup truck that was parked in the area. Police confirm that the driver was speeding when he hit the pickup.

Once the truck was hit, the SUV headed into the driveway of the house, hitting a boulder. The boulder sent it airborne, flipping the vehicle as it tumbled into the house.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. A female resident of the home he hit was severely shaken up by the accident, but escaped without injury.

Because of the time and circumstances of the accident, police suspect the man may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash. Investigators are still working to determine whether or not this was actually the case.
