November 5, 2018 – 2:35 pm: One unidentified person is dead after a crash involving a sedan in the area of George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
The accident took place Monday afternoon on JFK Boulevard at Will Clayton Parkway. The one car involved was a sedan, which ended up rolled over in the grass in the area below the parkway.
Apparently, the sedan took the exit ramp too fast and went off the edge into the grass. News reports state that the guardrail above the scene of the accident shows some damage, which is possibly the result of an impact with the sedan.
The southbound lanes of JFK Boulevard were shut down for several hours after the accident, while first responders worked on their investigation of the crash. Traffic was rerouted onto Will Clayton during the investigation.
The identity of the individual who was killed in the crash has not yet been released. At this time, the cause of the accident is still unknown. Officers of the Houston Police Department are still investigating.
