Woman Killed in Crash on Tuesday Afternoon

According to news reports, the woman was a passenger in the rear right sight of a Nissan Altima that was hit from the back.

 

January 22, 2019 – 5:50 pm: An as-yet unidentified 33-year-old woman was killed in a crash that took place in Harris County on Tuesday evening. The cause of the accident is not clear at this time, and there is no word on whether or not charges will be filed in connection with the crash.

The accident took place on the 9500 block of Galveston road, where both of the vehicles involved were headed northbound at the time.

According to police reports, the victim was a passenger in the rear right of a charcoal-colored Nissan Altima. The vehicle was stopped, waiting to make a left turn into a parking lot.

A white Ford F-250 pickup, also headed northbound, hit the rear end of the Nissan.

Reports do not mention any other injuries in connection with the crash. The identity of the woman who was killed and the identities of the other people involved in the accident have not been made public at this time.

No charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation is still continuing.
